We are thrilled to announce that Pearce Hire has been named Best Power Provider at the 2025 Event Production Awards (EPAs). First launched in 2012, the EPAs is an annual celebration that brings together over 400 live event professionals to recognise the teams behind the successful delivery of live events over the past 12 months.
As a leading provider of technical solutions to the events industry for over 30 years, this award is a true testament to the hard work of our incredible team and pays homage to our mission transforming how events up and down the country are powered sustainably.
About the Award
Taking place at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London, The EPAs celebrate excellence in the production and delivery of outdoor and live events. Since their inauguration the event has become an annual highlight, recognising the hard work, dedication, and innovation of the teams and individuals behind some of the UK’s most successful live events.

Winning this award is a significant achievement for the team and is key to furthering our mission in delivering innovative power solutions within the live events industry. At Pearce Hire, we continuously strive to set the benchmark for innovation, creativity and sustainability, and this recognition reaffirms our dedication to delivering the very best in power solutions for live events.
Our application showcased our work at Big Church Festival in 2024 where we powered the main stage using hydrogen, the first UK festival to ever achieve this, eliminating harmful emissions and saving approximately 5.8 tonnes of CO₂ compared to previous years. By collaborating with GeoPura, we demonstrated that large scale events can transition to cleaner energy sources without compromising reliability or performance .
We also highlighted our continuous improvement work at All Points East festival where we target year-on-year increases in the kWh per litre of HVO fuel as a measure of the efficiency of power generation. Each edition of the event uses the data gathered over the years to enable the generator systems to be more efficient.
As we celebrate our latest award, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of sustainable event power, helping the industry move toward a greener future.
